Education Program Coordinator III - Phase 3 Lead

Position Description:

As an Education Program Coordinator III in Academic Affairs you will work independently, under the direction of the Phase 3 faculty leads and Office of Curriculum Program Director to manage the longitudinal activities of Phase 3 for the Medical Doctorate Program. Collaborate with Elective and Department Coordinators, the Preparing for Residency team, the Learning Communities team, and MCWfusion Phase 3 faculty to facilitate the achievement of the Phase 3 and MCWfusion Curriculum goals.

Primary Functions

  • Maintain Phase 3 implementation timeline including tracking deadlines for program deliverables.
  • Coordinate the development of Phase 3 materials including common educational materials, essential documents, and process documentation.
  • Run regular meetings with Phase 3 stakeholders to drive towards consistency within course types.
  • Oversee the collection, analysis, and dissemination of Phase 3 data and ensure accuracy and integrity of data collected.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive databases and files related to Phase 3.
  • Organize internal and external meetings, site visits, and special events.
  • Participate on appropriate committees relevant to the advancement of the Phase 3 curriculum.
  • Collaborate with other divisions (e.g., Clinical and Basic Science Departments, OEI, Registrar, Student Affairs) across the organization to facilitate learning and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Serve as an expert regarding Phase 3 information and support a wide range of issues for leaders, faculty, staff, and learners.
  • Partner with Curriculum Leads and Program Director within the Office of Curriculum to develop best practices and quality improvement measures for the MCWfusion Curriculum.
  • Partner with the PFR course team to implement the Phase 3 passport.
  • Track student progression through the Phase 3 curriculum.
  • Collaborate with Phase 3 leaders to implement student remediation plans.
  • Collaborate with regional campus faculty and staff to ensure comparability across Phase 3 experiences.
  • Collaborate with Learning Community Program Manager in planning for individual coaching sessions and delivering small group sessions.
  • Collaborate with Integration team to implement and run Spiral Week and Preparing for Residency sessions.

Position Requirements:

Appropriate experience may be substituted on equivalent basis

Minimum Required Education: Bachelor's Degree

Minimum Required Experience: 5 years of related experience

Preferred Education: Master's in Education, Business/Management or related field

Preferred Experience: Program Teaching or Educational Management, Instructional Design, supervision of others

Field: Program Coordination or Management, Education, Higher Education, Medical Education
