NMCI Specialist

***FULL-TIME / 100% REMOTE POSITION***

Job Summary:

VSolvit is looking for a Mid-level NMCI Specialist to join our Range Systems Engineering team in support of Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), Corona Division.

As a Specialist on this project, you will be part of a team supporting an enterprise application. The ability to identify, communicate, and resolve technical issues is important in all aspects of this role.

This is a full-time, fully remote position.

Responsibilities:

• Support ACTR in coordinating and submitting NMCI/NGEN requirements for CLIN submission
• Maintain information on capabilities and processes in support of NMCI assets/networks
• Develop enterprise reporting tools and gather status and provide input to locations and possession of NMCI assets
• Manage regular tech refresh updates and coordinate asset distribution
• Communicate with workforce and users on requirements and support capabilities
• Assist the ACTR in seat management for the Navy-Marine Corps Intranet
• Create NET user accounts
• Verify monthly NMCI costs
• Support NET ordering
• Prepare requests for local Moves/Adds/Changes

Basic Qualifications:

• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD SECRET Security Clearance
• US Citizenship Required
• If applicable: If you are or have been recently employed by the U.S. government, a post-employment ethics letter will be required if employment with VSolvit is offered
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years experience with user support, troubleshooting, and problem-solving
• Basic written and verbal communication skills
• Organizational and planning skills
• Time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Good interpersonal skills to interface with internal and external customers and vendors
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Ability to accept oversight and instruction from mentors
• Ability to track inventory items

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exceptional attention to detail
• Experience working with the military and/or government
• 2+ years' experience with the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Suite applications
• Experience in inventory tracking
