Job Description |
Koinonia Community Solutions - 610 Old Tar Village Rd. Suite B Winterville, NC 28590 - is currently seeking a Data Assistant.
The Data Assistant will play a vital role in supporting Koinonia Community Solutions' full range of education programs-including afterschool, tutoring, mentoring, and youth development initiatives-by ensuring accurate data collection, management, and reporting. This position strengthens program effectiveness by providing reliable information for decision-making, compliance, and continuous improvement across all educational services.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Collection & Entry
- Collect enrollment, attendance, and participation data for all education programs.
- Input data into organizational databases, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain up-to-date electronic and physical files for each program site.
Reporting & Analysis
- Assist with creating data dashboards to help staff and leadership track performance metrics across multiple programs.
Program Evaluation & Compliance
- Assist with pre- and post-program assessments, surveys, and evaluations to measure student growth and program impact.
- Prepare data required for compliance with grants, state regulations, and organizational policies.
Confidentiality & Ethical Standards Ensure compliance with
FERPA,
HIPAA, and other privacy regulations.
- Handle sensitive information with the highest level of confidentiality.

Preferred (Majors, Experience, GPA, etc.) |
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; pursing degrees in Mathematics, Data Management, IT, Business, Computer Science or related fields preferred.
- Experience with data entry, reporting, and analysis
- Experience in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and database management software.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple program teams.
