Job Description
Koinonia Community Solutions - 610 Old Tar Village Rd Ste B Winterville, NC 28590 - is currently seeking an Economic Empowerment/Reentry Program Assistant.

Assists with participant intake, daily program operations, and administrative logistics for reentry and economic empowerment services. Supports both back-end processes and front-line participant engagement to ensure smooth service delivery and effective coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with intake and enrollment documentation for reentry and workforce programs
  • Track and organize participant records, appointment logs, and consent forms
  • Provide logistical support for workshops, events, and cohort sessions
  • Prepare and distribute materials and supplies for program activities
  • Support follow-up communication with participants via phone, email, or text
  • Assist with digital systems (Adobe Sign, Excel, Forms) to support administrative workflow
  • Attend program meetings and contribute to improvement feedback loops


Learning Objectives:

  • Understand how trauma-informed intake and administrative practices support participant dignity
  • Gain hands-on experience coordinating nonprofit programs in workforce and reentry contexts
  • Strengthen communication, organization, and systems skills applicable to direct service roles
  • Develop insight into participant-centered approaches to economic and justice-related mobility
