Job Title: Customer Service Specialist Overview The Customer Service Specialist plays a critical role in client communication and operational support. As the primary point of contact for clients, this individual ensures smooth and accurate information exchange between customers and internal departments. They are responsible for handling inquiries, resolving issues, and facilitating the flow of data and records essential to client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities * Serve as the liaison between clients and internal teams to obtain records, data, and authorizations. * Respond to client inquiries via email (70%) and phone (30%) to provide updates, clarify rejections, and gather additional information. * Investigate missing information and follow up with relevant entities to ensure timely resolution. * Maintain professionalism when dealing with demanding or frustrated clients, particularly in high-pressure scenarios. * Communicate effectively with attorneys and other professionals via email. * Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and complete data handling. * Manage invoicing and billing-related tasks as needed. Qualifications * Previous experience in a call center or customer service environment, especially handling high-stress or complaint-driven interactions. * Strong written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to professionally manage demanding clients and resolve issues diplomatically. * Familiarity with handling sensitive data, particularly medical records or similar documentation. * Proficiency in computer-based tasks and email platforms. * Experience with invoicing, billing, or administrative support is a plus. Work Environment * On-site work required five days a week (Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM). * Free parking available; public transportation is not accessible. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
