Position Summary The Executive Administrative Assistant provides high-level administrative and organizational support to Associate Dean, Assistant Dean, and Director of Graduate Medical Education. This role ensures the smooth operation of the GME Office by managing complex calendars, coordinating meetings and events, preparing confidential documentation, and serving as a key liaison between leadership, internal departments, and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate demonstrates discretion, initiative, and a strong ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic academic medical environment. Qualifications Required: Minimum 35 years of administrative experience supporting senior-level leadership, preferably in an academic medical or healthcare setting. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and calendar management systems. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Preferred: Bachelors degree or relevant experience in business administration, healthcare administration, or a related field. Experience in Graduate Medical Education or higher education administration. Knowledge of ACGME, or other GME regulatory bodies. Experience with platforms such as MedHub, New Innovations, or similar GME software. |
