Job Title: Geotechnical Project Engineer SOC code 17-2051.00 Workplace: 2860 Fisher Road, Columbus OH 43205 Contacts first and last name: Steve Mikloucich Address: 2860 Fisher Road, Columbus OH 43205 Phone: (614) 276-8123 Email: smikloucich@ctleng.com Job duties: Geotechnical Project Engineer Responsible for the technical aspects in the completion of Geotechnical projects; reviews and conducts Geotechnical explorations and investigations, soils/materials, testing, maintenance of lab quality reviews and certifications, management of equipment inventory and calibration, client communication and report preparation; interacts with clients and creates new business by providing customer service and responsiveness; provides on-site evaluation of problems and engineering recommendations; prepares Geotechnical engineering reports; interacts with clients on technical aspects of the projects; assists in planning and execution of subsurface investigation programs, locating testing boring inspections in the field and utility coordination; ensures compliance with standards; uses common Geotechnical software; develops recommendations for the design and analysis of earth embankments, earth retaining structures, anchoring systems, deep foundations, slope stability analysis, settlement analysis and foundations; works independently on broad projects under the direction of a Department Manager. Must have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering. Must have two (2) Years of experience in the job offered or as a Geotechnical Project Manager Two (2) years of experience (inclusive of experience required heretofore) must have included the following: 1) Preparing Geotechnical Reports; 2) Conducting soil laboratory testing; and 3) Developing slope stability analysis.
