Here's what you'll be doing: Sales & Dealer Engagement (Field-Based): Travel independently 2-3 times per week throughout the Bakersfield to Modesto territory using a company-provided vehicle. Build and maintain strong relationships with local dealers and business partners. Identify new business opportunities and onboard new accounts. Represent the company with professionalism and enthusiasm at dealer sites and industry events. Operational & Administrative Duties (Office-Based): Representing the dealer sales lane on sale days (yes, it's as cool as it sounds). Promoting Manheim's awesome products and services. Helping dealers get their vehicles ready for auction - both in-lane and online. Negotiating bids, consulting on pricing, and offering reconditioning advice. Solving problems, answering questions, and being the friendly face our clients count on. Who You Are You're a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, hybrid environment. You bring energy and initiative to everything you do whether you're in the office or out in the field. You're naturally curious, highly communicative, and build strong relationships with ease. While experience in sales, customer service, or dealer relations is a plus, what really sets you apart is your drive to connect, contribute, and grow. Here's more on what you have to offer: Minimum: A high school diploma or GED and 3 years of experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination of education and experience, such as a degree or certification in a related discipline or 5 years of experience in a related field. A valid driver's license. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to perform at a high level and adapt within a fast-paced team environment. The ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time, perform repetitive tasks and lift up to 15 pounds. Vision requirements include being able to see close, far and in color, judge distances and adapt to changes in focus. USD 21.54 - 32.31 per hour Compensation: Hourly base pay rate is $21.54 - $32.31/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program. Benefits: Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
