Waste Control, a Waste Connections company is looking to hire a full time, year-roundHeavy Equipment Operatorat our MRF in Longview, Washington. The Starting rate of pay is $25.11/HR. The Schedule will be: Monday thru Friday 10:30 am until 9 pm. Front loader, excavator and forklift experience Required Safety sensitive. Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies. Promotes continuous improvement ofworkplace safetyand environmental practices. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. Works well with the public WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT: Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work;heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 50 pounds. Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions. Ability to operate heavy equipment such asFront End Loader, Fork Lift, and other Heavy Equipment. Knowledge of basic computer skills. Knowledge of light andheavy equipment operationand maintenance. Knowledge of basicvehicle inspectionand maintenance including tire pressure, checking oil and water levels. Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures.
