Diesel Mechanic (2nd Shift 3pm Start) - Whitesboro, Texas

Join Waste Connections as a Diesel Mechanic and keep our fleet running strong! We're hiring experienced techs to perform maintenance and repairs on garbage trucks-covering everything from hydraulics and electrical to engine systems. This is a hands-on, outdoor role for someone who takes pride in their work and values safety.

What We Offer:
* $25.00-$30.00/hour based on experience Plus $2,500 Stay on Bonus

Estimated at $72,000.00-$98.000.00 Per Year
* $150/month tool allowance + annual boot stipend

* Consistent hours: 50-60 hrs/week, Mon-Fri + some Saturdays

What You'll Do:
* Perform preventative maintenance & inspections
* Diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical, and engine issues
* Handle on-road breakdowns and emergency calls
* Keep shop clean, organized, and safe
* Accurately document all work performed

Requirements:
* 3+ years of diesel or heavy truck experience
* Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
* ASE cert and CDL (A or B) a strong plus
* Reliable, hard-working, and safety-minded
* Comfortable working outdoors in all weather
