Compensation: This position is hourly, and the starting pay rate is $31/hour Rewards and Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage starts on day one of employment. Access to up to 50% of your paycheck based on hours worked before payday. 18 paid time off (PTO) days annually for full-time employees (accrual prorated based on employment start date) and 6 company holidays per year. 6% company contribution to a 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan each pay period, no employee contribution required. Position Details: The Grainger Data Science Apprenticeship is based in Lake Forest, IL. You will report to a leader within our Analytics & Data team. Our Analytics & Data team is a group of outstanding Data Scientists and AI experts with diverse backgrounds and strong technical expertise. Our team's mission is to use multiple technology platforms to build cutting-edge solutions and capabilities. We focus on Predictive Analytics, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, and other data-intensive practices. You are likely in the early stages of your academic career, and you are exploring options to determine the direction of your future profession. As such, you would like to learn what a career in data science entails and learn about the types of skills required to be successful in a data science career. We prefer that you are looking for exposure to a professional environment from which you learn and observe the processes and standards of an outstanding organization.
