Nokia of America Corporation, SSP Technical Expert - NPI/4LS (Multiple Positions), Dallas, TX.



  • Provide technical support for SSP Core Products, including SDM/OneNDS/Registers to both external customers and internal teams.
  • Deliver end-to-end customer support, and provide on-call emergency support as per internal process agreements.
  • Drive success in pilots, trials, upgrades, and new feature introductions as part of NPI and 4LS activities, ensuring seamless project execution through timely ticket handling, online troubleshooting as subject matter expert.
  • Foster innovation through strong collaboration within the team, ensuring smooth execution of activities and leveraging shared expertise for successful outcomes.
  • Collaborate with R&D to design and implement effective Workarounds (WAs) or solutions, desired expertise in either code or system test structure, along with E2E understanding.
  • Provide measurable input into new products, processes, standards or operational plans in support of business strategies. Analyze, develop and implement concepts and solutions as a subject matter expert. #LI-DNI


Domestic travel up to 10% required.

Telecommuting from a location within commuting distance of Dallas, TX may be permitted up to 60%.

Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Systems, Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Systems or a related field, and 5 years of post-bachelor's progressive related work experience. Or a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Systems, Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Systems or a related field, and 3 years of related work experience.

Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience with the following:



  • Interface protocols defined by 3GPP for 5G and LTE technologies;
  • Telecommunications protocols and technologies in UNIX Operating System, GSM, CDMA, UMTS, IP networks or SQL;
  • Cloud-based platforms and Linux;
  • Programming in C/C++ and Python;
  • and, OpenStack, VMware, Google Anthos or AWS.
