When you join the NielsenIQ team, you're signing up for an experience that requires flexibility, curiosity, and passion. As a Client Manager, you will be accountable for driving the overall customer experience and elevating NielsenIQ's impact on our Retailer clients. You are responsible for all client activity and the overall success of NielsenIQ with the customer. This position focuses on developing an understanding of the clients' business needs & challenges while providing core analytical support, report-based activities, trusted consultation, and problem-solving to support growth.

This includes driving timely outcomes and client value through the data and analytics which drive the overall customer experience and elevate NielsenIQ's performance. This role has deep knowledge of the customer's business and industry that enable you to identify new opportunities for NielsenIQ to drive value. Works successfully across a matrixed organization structure, fully leveraging the service model.

Key Responsibilities

Client Partnership & Strategic Leadership

  • Build deep expertise and empathy with client organizations, understanding their structure, challenges, and goals
  • Partner with clients to set objectives that drive measurable business impact and maximize value
  • Deliver strategic thought leadership by leveraging NielsenIQ tools, assets, and industry knowledge to guide client decision-making

Insight Delivery & Value Creation

  • Translate complex data into proactive, issue-based insights and action-oriented recommendations
  • Prove the value of NielsenIQ solutions through consultative storytelling, driving growth, adoption, and long-term value
  • Lead client discussions with clarity and confidence, ensuring stakeholder buy-in and alignment with business outcomes

Relationship Management & Communication

  • Build and maintain strong, enduring relationships with adaptability, urgency, and positivity
  • Facilitate clear, consistent day-to-day and strategic communications with client stakeholders
  • Onboard, train, and develop client teams to deepen their NielsenIQ expertise and engagement

Operational Excellence & Collaboration

  • Ensure timely delivery of monthly data, reporting, and custom solutions aligned with client objectives
  • Project manage internal cross-functional teams to resolve client issues and deliver high-quality outcomes
  • Collaborate with internal partners to connect deliverables to client goals and ensure on-time execution

Growth & Opportunity Identification

  • Identify opportunities for deeper partnership and elevate them to sales and organizational partners
  • Continuously seek ways to expand NielsenIQ's impact within client organizations through innovative solutions and insights

A Little About You

Are you an excellent market researcher with a passion for driving client impact? Can you effectively tell a story that captures the audience, no matter what level, and brings them along your journey? Are you able to work collaboratively, as part of a remote team within a dynamic and challenging environment while maintaining high standards? Do you have experience in working with complex client relationships and client issue resolution?

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA is a plus
  • 3-5 years applicable experience preferably within the Consumer-Packaged Goods industry
  • People management skills preferred
  • Experience with Syndicated POS Data & Panel Data preferred
  • You can develop purposeful insights to help your client make action-oriented business decisions
  • You have a strong analytical aptitude including expertise in category management and consumer insights
  • You are highly proficient in a variety of Software Solutions and Digital Technologies including Microsoft applications including Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • You possess a sense of urgency and accountability to drive client outcomes
  • Experience working with complex client relationships and client issue resolution
  • You have excellent oral and written communication skills and strong presentation skills, particularly with customers
  • You are familiar with NielsenIQ tools, applications, and platforms
Additional Information

This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation of the following range: $76,500-$95,000. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a sales-based incentive or performance-based bonus.
