Product Owner & Agile Lead

The Opportunity:

Booz Allen's Enterprise Digital Experience team manages the company's digital presence, including all external and internal-facing digital marketing and communication channels. We sit at the intersection of marketing strategy, experience design, data analytics, and leading-edge technology, supporting the company's mission of "empowering people to change the world" through exceptional digital experiences.

We are seeking a hybrid digital product owner and agile delivery leader, focused on defining product priorities and establishing agile processes that drive delivery maturity. Translate business and marketing strategy into actionable development work while building a high-functioning agile team environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong agile leadership, establishing and leading agile ceremonies, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives. The candidate will also drive mature product thinking and execution, with expertise in deconstructing business goals into epics, features, and stories with clear acceptance criteria. This individual will lead the development and prioritization of the agile backlog, in partnership with stakeholders from marketing and technology, while also owning the agile delivery process end-to-end.Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Scrum Master, or Agile Delivery Lead

  • Experience leading agile delivery in cross-functional or matrixed environments

  • Experience defining epics and user stories from strategic goals

  • Experience with facilitation for standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos

  • Experience coordinating across multiple delivery teams, including internal and vendor teams

  • Experience in developing and maintaining product roadmaps to align with business objectives and vision

  • Knowledge of Jira configuration, workflow management, dashboard and reporting setup

  • Knowledge of MarTech tools, digital marketing processes, or marketing operations

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Agile certification, such as CSPO, CSM, PSM, or SAFe PO/PM certification

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with scaled agile framework (SAFe) or similar

  • Experience in marketing, digital strategy, or marketing operations

  • Experience driving agile maturity in enterprise environments

  • Experience with web development, software development, marketing automation, or conversion rate optimization

  • Knowledge of Confluence, Miro, or other collaboration tools

  • Knowledge of data privacy, compliance, or regulatory requirements related to marketing

  • Ability to manage and prioritize a product backlog

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
