Job Overview

The Electrical Helper will assist the Electrical Integration team on the electrical integration of the units as well as the shipping preparations for the finished product and loading units onto trucks for delivery.

A Day In The Life

  • Electrical Integration




    • Assist with installing cable trays, conduit and routing heavy gauge wire bundles
    • Follow instructions given by integrators and Team Lead's
    • Assist in other production areas as needed


  • Finished product shipping preparations

    • Cleaning and preparing units for shipment
    • Install protective wrap, packaging materials and tarps on heavy oversized electrical equipment with the safe and correct use of fall protection harnesses (on-site training licensure required)
    • Safe and competent scissor-lift use (on-site training licensure required)
    • Safe use of overhead gantry crane and column lifts to load units onto flatbed trucks (on-site training and licensure required)
    • Movement of large (46' x 16') skids through the facility to the shipping area
    • Maintain a clean and safe area free of debris, clutter and other waste materials
    • Participation in 5S, Lean and efficiency initiatives as appropriate

  • Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time
  • Ability to work up to 12-hours shifts and weekends when required
  • Ability to lift, carry, push or pull equipment up to 50lbs
  • Initiative and team player mentality
  • Familiarity and use of basic hand tools such as drills, impacts, circular saw, tape measures, punches, screw guns, mechanical benders, etc.
  • Relevant work experience with exposure to warehouse and/or manufacturing preferred
  • Ability to follow all required policies and safety guidelines
  • Familiarity with electrical schematics and drawings
  • Ability to read and understand policies, work instructions and blueprints
