We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking AI Solution Architect to join our team. This role requires a unique blend of deep technical expertise in software engineering and solution architecture, strategic thinking, and strong interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will be passionate about designing scalable AI systems, collaborating across disciplines, and driving innovations that align with business goals.

As an AI Solution Architect, you will work closely with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to define and implement AI strategies. You will be responsible for crafting architectural blueprints, selecting appropriate technologies, and ensuring seamless integration of AI solutions into existing systems.

Your role.

Your work will include, but not be limited to:

  • Lead the architectural design and development of AI-driven systems and solutions.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams-including engineering, product, and business stakeholders-to define requirements and align strategic technical vision.

  • Champion best practices in software engineering within the team, focusing on code quality, scalability, and maintainability.

  • Design and oversee the development of APIs and integration strategies for AI components.

  • Offer technical guidance on Python, React, and AI frameworks, ensuring seamless front-end and back-end integration.

  • Facilitate consensus building among team members and stakeholders to move projects forward efficiently.

  • Present complex AI concepts, solution designs, and progress updates to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Stay ahead of industry trends in AI, machine learning, and software development to inform strategic decisions.

  • Mentor and develop engineering talent within the AI team.

The qualifications.

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in AI-related roles such as AI Engineer, Machine Learning Engineer, or Data Scientist.
  • Strong software engineering background, including architecture, design patterns, and coding best practices.
  • Expert proficiency in Python for AI model development and integration.
  • Experience building and scaling user interfaces with React.
  • Deep understanding of API design, implementation, and deployment.
  • Hands-on experience with AI and machine learning frameworks (such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn).
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to gain consensus in a multidisciplinary, fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking with a forward-looking, innovative approach to technology.
  • Must have a technical background with at least ten years of work experience in one or more IT areas including but not limited to:
    • IT Architecture, infrastructure, databases and cloud development
    • Software architecture design
    • Business analysis
    • DevOps
    • Project and product management
  • Working knowledge of Enterprise Application Integration middleware solutions and their application into the overall technical solution.
  • Deep analytical skills
  • Project and resource management skills
  • Efficient communication skills. Communicates (writes, speaks, listens) in a concise and effective manner to gain understanding with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Highly motivated self-starter:

This is a non-exempt position, so you may have to work hours that exceed the standard 40-hour work week.

We are pleased to offer eligible staff a robust benefits package. Eligibility and contribution requirements for some of these benefits vary based on the number of hours staff work per week. Highlights include health, dental, vision, disability and life insurance. These standard offerings are effective on the first of the month following your start date. In addition to this, eligible staff are able to take advantage of our Flexible Time Off and various pre-determined holidays as well as a 401(k) plan, flexible benefits plans, business-related travel expense, lodging and meal reimbursement for business-related use. A Pension plan is also available for eligible administrative and paraprofessional staff. A discretionary bonus plan is available for eligible staff. Plante Moran also offers Interns and Contractors the option to elect health insurance under our contingent staff medical plan as of the 1st of the month following 60 days of employment in addition to limited paid time sick time. Seasonal staff are not eligible for benefits.

Compensation is commensurate with technical skills and experience is provided in accordance with applicable state requirement. Compensation information posted is based on a position being located in the state of CO or IL. Please review theposition location for theapplicable geographic location.
