Develops, designs, and analyzes electric and gas rates and tariffs. Evaluates and analyzes proposed new rate structures. Benchmarks industry trends to inform decision-making. Compiles and maintains large datasets to evaluate customer bills and impacts of rate changes. Reviews and drafts tariff language including rate schedules and riders. Trains and instructs other analysts in the research and application of ratemaking philosophies, and guides analysts in the proper line of reasoning and study. Recovers the utility's revenue requirements. Tasks and Responsibilities
Minimum Skills
Minimum Knowledge and Abilities
Relevant experience in cost analysis, utility rate design and/or pricing development.
Valid Class C Texas Driver's License and scheduling.
Must have favorable driving record. Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Physics or related field from an accredited university. Required Certifications
Working Environment
Indoor work, operating computer, manual dexterity, talking, hearing, repetitive motion. Use of personal computing equip, phone, multi-functioning printer & calculator. Ability to travel to & from meetings, training sessions or other busi-related events.
After hours work may be required. Physical Demands
Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
