Job Responsibilities and Requirements

Responsibilities:
* Design equipment according to application specifications, customer requirements, and within operational timelines.
* Applies engineering principles and practices in design, development, analysis, and release of projects.
* Collaborates and coordinates with internal and external stakeholders to fulfill project requirements.
* Identifies and prioritizes continuous improvement opportunities and works with the product development teams to implement them.
* Develops knowledge and becomes a subject matter expert (SME) within the engineering department.
* Build in-depth understanding of Intralox Activated Roller Belt Technology.
* Support generation of project documentation and equipment manuals.
* Support equipment installation & start-up and assist with troubleshooting field issues sometimes at customer site.
Requirements:
* B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 0-2 years' experience. Industrial machine design, conveyor equipment design experience preferred but not required.
* Proficient at creating detailed part, weldment, assembly, and installation drawings. Autodesk Inventor or similar 3D modeling software
* Proficient with using measuring devices, tools, and reading and understanding electrical schematics, P&ID, and mechanical drawings.
* Proficient with commonly used GD&T concepts.
* Computer proficiency in MS Office. Knowledgeable in programming languages is a plus.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* A self-managed individual who is a team player.
* Travel required (5%) for equipment installation, start-up or troubleshooting often taking place on weekends and holidays to meet customer scheduling requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
* 3D sheet metal design experience
* Windchill PLM experience

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Intralox considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training and key skills. Therefore, we encourage all qualified applicants to apply regardless of their salary expectations.
The position is eligible for one of the following: commissions, discretionary incentives, or production incentives according to the terms of those plans
Salary Range $66,000 to $168,600.
