Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking an experienced Cost Accounting Manager to join their finance team. This is a high-impact role responsible for delivering financial insights that drive operational and strategic decisions across the business. Key Responsibilities: Provide strategic financial analysis on supply chain impacts to the P&L, balance sheet, and key performance indicators Lead monthly close activities, including SOX compliance, variance analysis (plant spend, purchase price, production), and balance sheet reconciliations Prepare, post, and review journal entries with accurate documentation in the financial system Support monthly forecasting and variance analysis for plant operations Contribute to annual budgeting and operational planning, including new product cost estimation and overhead structure analysis Collaborate with Supply Chain, Accounting, and Finance teams to deliver accurate, data-driven insights Provide support to internal and external audit teams for annual audits and quarterly reviews Assist with year-end physical inventories and roll-forwards Manage, mentor, and develop team members to ensure high performance Lead or support ad hoc projects as needed by leadership Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 5-7 years of finance experience in a manufacturing or supply chain environment Prior supervisory experience required Experience with standard costing methodologies strongly preferred Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office; Power BI experience is a plus Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Solid understanding of ERP and financial information systems Interested?
