Teaching Specialist - ANSC 4603 - Beef Management Production (Fall 2025)

Job Duties

• Develop and teach courses (in-person, hybrid or online).
• Advise students in courses with regard to academic concerns.
• May provide service related teaching duties.
• Participate in the decisions relating to the policies, courses and programs in which there is involvement.
• Continue personal growth within the profession, keep current with the field and broaden knowledge and expertise.

Required Qualifications

• Master's or PhD degree is required.
• Must have demonstrated competence to teach the course material.
• Professional and/or teaching experience related to the assigned instructional responsibilities.

College Overview

The College of Food, Agricultural and Natural Resource Sciences (CFANS) is composed of 13 academic departments, 10 research and outreach centers across Minnesota, plus the
Minnesota Landscape Arboretum, the Bell Museum, and dozens of interdisciplinary centers that span the college, the university, and the globe. Department Overview

The Department of Animal Science is recognized nationally and internationally for its excellent research, teaching, and extension programs in animal agriculture and animal biology. Pay Range: $3,000 per credit, with the possibility of additional compensation depending on course enrollment numbers.
