A key strategic priority for this position is the implementation and continuous improvement of a centralized intake model, designed to streamline access to mental health services across both Boynton Mental Health and Student Counseling Services.

This role requires a leader with demonstrated expertise in clinical and/or administrative supervision, as well as experience guiding organizational change, leading cross-functional initiatives, or driving quality improvement efforts. The ideal candidate brings a systems-thinking mindset, a commitment to equity in access to care, and the ability to foster collaboration across departments in support of an integrated, student-centered approach to mental health services.

Salary Range: $100,000-115,000

  • Optimize Service Delivery Quality: Champion high-performance service standards by identifying bottlenecks, implementing evidence-based workflows, and monitoring key performance indicators to ensure efficiency and excellence across Intake and Urgent Counseling.
  • Strategic Team Engagement: Design and lead purposeful team meetings with clear objectives, data-informed agendas, and follow-up action plans to drive alignment, accountability, and measurable improvements.
  • Accelerate Onboarding & Skill Integration: Architect and implement strategic onboarding and orientation processes for new staff and trainees, embedding culture, compliance, and performance best practices from day one.
  • Lead Continuous Training Innovation: Proactively assess team capability needs, curate targeted professional development opportunities, and evaluate training effectiveness through feedback and outcome metrics.
  • Drive Operational Excellence: Partner with the Operations Team to co-design and implement procedural enhancements, leveraging continuous quality improvement frameworks to refine processes, elevate client experience, and align with institutional goals.

Clinical Responsibilities (75%):

  • Deliver high-impact, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive mental health services: Support student well-being, retention, and academic success across in-person, virtual, and drop-in modalities by providing intake, individual therapy, and brief counseling.
  • Strategically assess student risk and implement timely interventions: Connect students to appropriate internal and external resources to ensure safety, continuity of care, and crisis stabilization.
  • Provide strategic clinical backup during urgent situations: Advance a coordinated and effective crisis response system that aligns with clinic operations and student needs.
  • Strengthen campus-wide mental health infrastructure: Influence proactive coordination with key partners (e.g., Care Team, Behavioral Consultation Team, Disability Resource Center, International Student and Scholar Services, University Police) to ensure integrated, student-centered care.
  • Advance clinical excellence and innovation: Engage in ongoing professional development, participation in research-informed continuing education, and maintaining licensure in alignment with best practices and emerging trends.
  • Guide students: Facilitate student access to appropriate on- and off-campus services, with a focus on efficient referrals to academic, university-based, and specialized community providers, optimizing care pathways and service utilization.
  • Advocate for students: Assist students in mitigating insurance or financial barriers by facilitating access to affordable community-based mental health services, supporting equity in care.
