    Job Responsibilities:
    1. Plan, organize and schedule weekly summer field trips for Explorers students in alignment with the summer program theme. Tasks include field trip reservations, bussing, permission slips, supporting documents for staff and submission of invoices for payment.
    2. Plan, organize and schedule school year field trips for Explorers students on non-school days including field trip reservations, scheduling bussing, permission slips, supporting documents for staff and submission of invoices for payment.
    3. Register staff for external staff development training; create and maintain the staff development tracking spreadsheet; assist the Program Manager in organization and set up of internal staff development trainings.
    4. Process orders and submit invoices for instructional supplies, office materials, program t-shirts and first aid supplies for all sites.
    5. Provide support to the Explorers Program Manager; scheduling meetings, processing paperwork, preparing payroll, and other duties as assigned.
    6. Maintain a master list of student schedules for all sites during the school year and communicate updated student information to sites as needed.
    7. In conjunction with Site Supervisors and Explorers Program Manager, create a monthly newsletter for all Explorers sites.
    8. Design both printed and electronic materials for promotion of upcoming events including registration deadlines, event invitations and educational pieces to enhance student experiences on field trips.
    9. Develop versatile and healthy summer breakfast and snack menus and order food to be provided to students.
    10. Assist the Explorers Billing & Enrollment team with processing child care contract approvals/changes.
    11. Supervise youth at Explorers per assignment from the Explorers Program Manager as staffing support is needed.
    12. Support Minnetonka Community Education community events including Tour de Tonka on the first Saturday in August.

    Job Qualifications:
    1. Bachelor's Degree preferred
    2. The ability to meet the Minnesota Department of Children, Youth, and Families requirements for child care staff along with First Aid & CPR certification (training will be provided if needed).
    3. Direct experience working with school-age children preferred
    4. Ability to communicate and work effectively with students, staff, families and volunteers
    5. Exhibits enthusiasm and creativity in developing activities
    6. Must be dependable
    7. Strong problem solving and decision making skills
    8. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Eleyo and Canva.
    9. Strong organizational skills with the ability to exchange/convey information both written and verbally
