Billing Representative

This position follows a hybrid schedule with four (4) in-office days per week. Our office is located at 200 Forest St Marlborough, MA 01752

A typical day will include sorting mail after it's dropped off for the day. Print documents / attachments from a SharePoint site or legacy system. Sorting, scanning, and batching documents received from clients and patients. The day will vary from day to day, depending on what comes in for that day.

This position is full-time (40 hours/week), Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00 am - 4:30 pm EST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.

We offer 4 weeks of on-the-job training. The hours of training will be aligned with your schedule.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Processing check deposits and recording them in internal systems
• Sorting mail
• Scanning documents
• Printing attachments and refund checks
• Matching documents to checks, inserting them into envelopes, and preparing them for mailing
• Print claim forms and match them with the related documents
• Check inventory and place orders for envelopes and invoice paper as needed
• Once the documents are batched to each individual representative, follow up to confirm they've been completed
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma / GED
• Must be 18 years of age OR older
• Experience with Microsoft Office including Microsoft Word (ability to open, save, edit, and send documents), Microsoft Outlook (emails / calendar invitations) and Microsoft Excel (data entry, sort / filter, and work within tables)
• Familiarity with computer and Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to learn new and complex computer system application
• Ability to work up to four (4) days per week in office at 200 Forest St Marlborough, MA 01752

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with Adobe

Telecommuting Requirements:

• Reside within commutable distance to the office at 200 Forest St Marlborough, MA 01752
• Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
• Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
• Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $17.74 - $31.63 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
