Laser & Press Brake Operator

Stellar Hearth Products, a division of Hearth and Home Technologies, is hiring a Machine Technician at their Lakeville, MN location. Stellar creates unique and custom gas fireplaces to meet the unique needs and desires of our customers.

Responsibilities

• Helping to ensure that all production goals through fabrication are met daily.
• Accountable for set up and operation of a laser and press brake machine to construct Stellar products.
• Essential machine set up, including the installation and removal of tooling as needed.
• Work to maximize efficiency in all areas of the fabrication department in regards to tooling, equipment, jigs, carts, etc.
• The ability to complete finished product within the parameters outlined in blueprints, purchase orders, and/or the production schedule.
• Adherence to all quality standards by producing products which align with the print specifications is critical to this position.
• Safety in the work area with regular inspection and cleaning, helping to maintain our 5S standards.
• Laser and Press Brake Operation

• Motivated to perform well and take on additional tasks as needed.
• Highly detail oriented and capable of carrying out a task with all specifics necessary to ensure the end product is correct.
• Having the ability to adjust to the production schedule demands as necessary.
• Willing to work overtime when necessary per the workload and schedule demands.
