Apply Job Description FSQA Lab Tech I is a detail-oriented and proactive Food Quality Lab Technician supporting lab operations and product testing. This role plays a key part in maintaining compliance and ensuring product quality through thorough inspection, sample collection, and documentation. Job Duties: Maintain lab housekeeping by managing waste, cleaning benchtops, cleaning carts, sanitizing biological safety cabinets, de-cluttering lab, other duties as assign, etc. Manage shipping and receiving packages for the Micro Lab Complete any errands including but not limited to sample pick-up (when needed), courier package drop-off, and any outside lab errands Outside lab sample collecting including water samples, etc. Finished Goods analytical testing of PET products and pre-retort cans Requisition Number 6250 Shift Delta Qualification Qualifications: High school diploma or GED. 1-2 years' experience with quality inspection, auditing, data collection, and testing. 6 months experience in a lab setting Experience and knowledge with Microsoft Office and Office-based database systems. Ability to understand department documents Ability to display sound logic and attention to details. Ability to communicate comfortably and work with co-workers in a team environment. Ability to follow a schedule, as well as verbal and written instructions. Read and speak English. Bachelors or Associate degree in a program in a science field or quality technology preferred Experience in food manufacturing preferred Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills. Sound Math skills e.g. Percent Calculations, averages, means, standard deviation etc. Respond quickly to information request from internal and external customers.
