Position Responsibilities

Job Summary
The Senior Vulnerability Management Analyst is responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating vulnerabilities within the organization's information systems. This role works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the security and integrity of company data and systems. The ideal candidate will take a proactive approach to vulnerability management, possess a strong understanding of current security threats and trends, and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of the organization's vulnerability management program. Reporting to the Team Lead of Threat & Vulnerability Management, this position is key to maintaining a robust security posture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and scans on networks, systems, and applications.
  • Analyze and prioritize vulnerabilities based on risk and potential impact.
  • Collaborate with other relevant teams to remediate identified vulnerabilities..
  • Develop and maintain vulnerability management policies, procedures, and documentation.
  • Monitor and report on the status of vulnerability remediation efforts.
  • Stay current with emerging security threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on vulnerability management to internal teams.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of security awareness training related to vulnerability management.
  • Participate in incident response activities as needed.
  • Utilize vulnerability management tools to track and manage vulnerabilities.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
  • B.S. degree in Information Security, Computer Science, MIS, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in vulnerability management, information security, or a related field.
  • Experience with vulnerability assessment tools (e.g., Nessus, Qualys, Rapid7).
  • Strong understanding of common vulnerabilities and exposures (CVE) and the common vulnerability scoring system (CVSS).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working in a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, GIAC).
  • Experience with cloud security and DevSecOps practices.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, PCI DSS).
  • Passion for leveraging Generative AI to drive efficiency and innovation.

Compensation Information

The U.S. salary range for this position is $68500.00 - $119750.00. This range is subject to change as Deltek takes a number of factors into consideration when determining individual base pay, such as location, job-related knowledge, skills and experience. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including incentive compensation and equity.
