Position:Associate Analytical Scientist Location:Greater Boston, MA (Onsite) Length:10+ months Job Description: Our client is seeking a highly motivated Associate Analytical Scientist to join its team. This role offers the opportunity to support upstream and downstream process development through analytical testing and assay support in a collaborative, cross-functional environment. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in biologic characterization and strong technical knowledge of analytical techniques relevant to bioprocessing. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to): Provide analytical testing support for upstream and downstream process development groups. Execute analytical assays for in-process samples in a non-GMP setting. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for assay transfer, troubleshooting, and optimization. Maintain detailed and accurate records in electronic lab notebooks. Analyze and interpret data and present findings in team meetings. Support documentation efforts including writing technical reports and method documentation. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related scientific discipline with 4+ years of relevant experience; or Master's degree with 2+ years of experience. Strong hands-on experience in analytical techniques used in biologics development (i.e., SEC, SDS-PAGE, CE-SDS, ELISA, titer). Familiarity with monoclonal antibodies or protein therapeutics in a bioprocessing or cell culture environment. Experience in assay transfer, troubleshooting, and method qualification is a plus. Strong analytical thinking, documentation skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. POST-OFFER BACKGROUND CHECK IS REQUIRED.
