U.S. Facilities, Inc., a leading provider of comprehensive building maintenance and infrastructure services, is in search of an outstanding Lead Attendant. This position reports to the Project Manager, responsible for the supervision of all site personnel and assistance with daily cleaning and maintenance of the Welcome Center facilities and grounds.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


As a Lead Attendant:



  • Supervises, and assists, Welcome Center Attendants, and sub-contractors under the general guidance of Project Manager / or designated Supervisor.
  • Assists in the training of Site Staff.
  • As an Lead Attendant:
  • Actively looks to improve their site and works with their staff to coach them into performing at their best.
  • Performs the essential duties and responsibilities of the Attendant or Supervisor while performing each role.
  • Acts as direct liaison between SCORT Janitorial Supervisors and US Facilities Welcome Center Staff
  • Creates and maintains weekly and monthly staffing schedules
  • First point of contact for call ins or change in schedules
  • Proactively seeks assistance from Project Manager when needed.
  • Performs regular inspections of rest rooms and common areas for sanitation, cleanliness, order, malfunctioning equipment and safety.
  • Cleans and maintains rest room buildings (interior and exterior) and all areas of the grounds to include picnic areas, parking lots, pet rest areas, etc.
  • Cleaning includes but is not limited to activities such as wiping, moping, sweeping, sanitizing, vacuuming, dusting, litter removal, and trash clean up.
  • Performs minor maintenance of facility such as changing light bulbs or filters, etc.
  • Identifies areas within the facility and grounds that need maintenance, repair, or replacement and works to correct any issues.
  • Greets customers and assists them with any questions or concerns.
  • Informs Project Manager of any hazardous environments and assists in correcting any issues.
  • Creates a teamwork environment where mutual collaboration and idea sharing and problem solving from every level is encouraged.
  • Ensures a safe working environment is established and maintained.
  • Promotes a culture of safety to reduce and/or eliminate accidents and injuries.
  • Promotes a positive working environment where teamwork is basis of all work performed.
  • Performs job in a professional manner with a strong work ethic in an effort to "lead by example."
  • Performs other duties as assigned.



Education/Experience:



  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Knowledge of applicable OSHA standards.



REQUIREMENTS:



  • Ability to work with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to lead, manage and direct employees.
  • Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the maintenance and/or repair of buildings or other structures.
  • Ability to multi-task and complete assigned duties efficiently.
  • Professional appearance and manner.
  • Must be able to manage a variety of personality types without exhibiting stress. Managing through intimidation, foul language, or otherwise creating a hostile work environment will not be tolerated.
  • However, there is no guarantee of a set schedule or standard days off. Schedules are designed with the business needs in mind. Personal needs will be accommodated if possible.



PHYSICAL DEMANDS:



  • Must be able to sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift 25-50 pounds.


COMPENSATION:



  • $15.50 per hour


WORK ENVIRONMENT: Primary environment is within the Welcome Center facility and within the adjacent parking lot, walkways, and lawns.
