Traffic Manager

Contract-to-Hire

Hybrid- Onsite 4 days a week (Monday-Thursday), Fridays remote (NO FLEXIBILITY)

Our client is seeking a highly organized Traffic Manager to join their creative team. This role acts as a central hub between Creative Project Managers and the design/production team, ensuring smooth workflow and communication throughout the process. This individual will focus on internal coordination, helping move creative requests through the system and ensuring clarity, accuracy, and timeliness.

**This role is critical for keeping high-volume creative work on track- Most of this work will be handling in-store retail signage such as wayfinding signage, POS signage, promotional signage, floor signage and shelf talkers.

Responsibilities:



  • Intake and route creative jobs submitted by Project Managers via their internal project management platform
  • Ensure briefs and supporting materials (e.g., signage spreadsheets, mockups) are clear and actionable for the design and production teams
  • Act as the go-to liaison between Creative PMs and Designers/Production Artists to communicate job needs and timelines
  • Maintain accurate schedules and production tracking for a rolling slate of ~45 active projects
  • Coordinate daily workflow and prioritize tasks based on deadlines and creative capacity
  • Archive assets, manage documentation, and support file transmittal processes
  • Monitor job progress to ensure timely delivery and flag potential bottlenecks early
  • Assist in identifying process improvements and support overall efficiency
  • Arrange and maintain tracking for in-progress and completed assets
  • Provide backup support for traffic across other locations when needed


Qualifications:



  • 3+ years of experience in a creative traffic or project coordination role, preferably within an agency or in-house creative team
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience using project management tools (e.g., Aproove, Asana, Wrike, Jira or similar)
  • Understanding of retail signage, creative production timelines, and workflows
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with a sharp eye for detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) is a plus
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Professional demeanor and collaborative mindset
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Knowledge of or willingness to learn internal tools and traffic systems quickly
