Temporary Position Summary
Our Corporate College Internship Program (CCIP), is designed to meet the industry's rapidly changing workforce needs byproviding local San Antonio college students with public utility career experience. Through the internship program students arepaired with a mentor to acquire meaningful hands-on experience that expands their understanding of how the industry works andexposes them to essential skills they must acquire or develop to be successful. The internship is not only meant for the intern tolearn how to do things, but to also understand the rationale behind the strategies that are being used. Provide support to Gas Engineering & Planning department by supporting the Gas Operations team in ongoing operational issues with their engineering related issues. Gain an understanding of day-to-day operations within the gas system. Ride along daily with Gas Operations and get familiar with the system, maintenance operations, projects, monitoring and changes to pressure, and the general design of the system. Minimum Skills
Personal Computer Usage Minimum Knowledge and Abilities
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Must be currently enrolled in a related discipline.

Demonstrate an interest in a career applicable to the utility industry.
Attend all activities sponsored by CPS Energy during employment.
