Job Description
ECU Department of Microbiology and Immunology at the Brody School of Medicine is currently seeking an Undergraduate Lab Assistant to work in a laboratory investigating the unique aspects of periplasmic flagella and gene regulation in spirochetes ( https://microbiology-immunology.ecu.edu/md-motaleb/).

Duties:

  • The Lab Assistant will prepare reagents, place orders, and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • They will also be involved in laboratory upkeep and administration as required.
  • The assistant is expected to conduct microbiological and molecular biology experiments after receiving appropriate training.

Preferred (Majors, Experience, GPA, etc.)
Preference will be given to those who plan to pursue a graduate degree.
