The Senior Director of Clinical Transformation will lead initiatives critical to improving clinical outcomes for our patients. They will lead a team of highly motivated individuals with backgrounds ranging from management consulting to project management to healthcare delivery, and are expected to: (1) identify which work will add the most value, (2) effectively lead work streams with dependencies on many different cross functional partners, (3) collaborate well throughout the organization, and (4) communicate recommendations to senior executives on a regular basis.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Builds deep understanding of clinical processes that influence patient clinical outcomes
  • Crafts problem statements in ways that clarify where we should focus effort
  • Leverages hypotheses-based approach to identify, assess, test and quantify impact of interventions to improve clinical outcomes
  • Identifies when it is appropriate to leverage technological solutions, captures key user requirements, and partners with internal or external partners in solution development.
  • Inspires direct reports, cross-functional groups, and senior leaders to action
  • Distills complex business problems into cohesive, impactful stories
  • Presents comfortably and compellingly to senior audiences
  • Successfully manages relationships with senior business leaders through effective communication and strong interpersonal skills
  • Allocates team resources to ensure all timelines and deliverables are met
  • Takes accountability for results
  • Has a growth mindset
  • Develops and mentors teammates
  • Embodies DaVita's core values on a daily basis
  • Up to 20% travel may be required at times; though typical travel is 5-10%

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience leading large-scale business transformation from concept through implementation with tangible impact. Preferably in healthcare setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to build professional relationships, influence others, and drive meaningful change that 'sticks'
  • 12+ years of total work experience in progressive roles preferred
  • MBA, MPH, MHA, or MD from a top-tier school preferred
  • Healthcare background preferred
  • Change management certification/training preferred

The Salary Range for the role is $146,000.00-$215,000.00 per year.
