As part of our Platform Engineering Team within the Technology organization, you will play a key role in designing, deploying, and maintaining secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure solutions. This role reports to the Cloud Engineering Manager and collaborates with teams across Security, DevOps, Architecture, and Product Engineering.

You'll contribute to the implementation of cloud infrastructure automation, enforce best practices, and support the adoption of modern tools and frameworks in our Microsoft Azure environment.

In this role you will:




  • Build and manage infrastructure using Azure, Terraform, and GitHub Actions.
  • Design and support networking, security, monitoring, and identity solutions in Azure.
  • Collaborate with engineers and architects on infrastructure design, automation, and deployment strategies.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure pipelines and promote Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices.
  • Support cloud governance: apply cost controls, tagging strategies, access policies, and compliance baselines.
  • Participate in incident response and on-call rotations related to cloud infrastructure.
  • Design and support highly available, distributed systems with built-in disaster recovery across Azure regions



Contributors to your success:

Ideally you will have some, or most, of the following qualifications, but more importantly you have the desire,drive,and ability to learn and become a key contributor in these areas:




  • 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure roles.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including services like Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Azure Firewall, Network Security Groups, and Azure Policy.
  • Experience designing or operating distributed systems with a focus on high availability and disaster recovery in cloud environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Terraform and GitHub Actions for infrastructure automation and CI/CD workflows.
  • Practical understanding of Azure networking, including private endpoints, DNS and VNet peering.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.
  • Proficient in scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) for automation and tooling.
  • One or more relevant certifications, such as:


Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate

Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate

Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate

Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals

Preferred Qualifications:




  • Experience implementing Azure landing zones or enterprise-scale environments.
  • Exposure to cloud cost optimization, compliance, and policy management.
  • Familiarity with secure cloud design patterns in regulated or security-sensitive environments.
  • One or more advanced certifications, such as:


Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert

Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Expert

Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
