Scope of Position:

The Finance Consultant - Strategy amp; Transformation is a key partner in support of the academic medical centers tripartite mission, supporting the Strategy amp; Transformation function.

Position Summary

The Finance Consultant - Strategy amp; Transformation is responsible to serve as the finance business partner that provides strategic analytics, consultation, and coordination on financial and strategic questions related to the Strategy amp; Transformation portfolio.The Strategy amp; Transformation portfolio includes a number of initiatives in support of the Wexner Medical Center's Impact 2035 strategic plan. This position is a member of the Wexner Medical Center finance leadership team and a member of the Strategy amp; Transformation team.

Specifically, the Finance Consultant - Strategy amp; Transformation:

  • Provides finance strategy and project support for Strategy amp; Transformation including opportunities across the portfolio (i.e., enterprise strategic plan, clinical planning, new opportunities, partnerships, etc.) to deliver greater value.
  • Leads the business analytics/decision support work for the Strategy amp; Transformation portfolio that provides a coordinated resource for business planning, strategic planning, proforma development, and monitoring/ROI functions.
  • Oversees business operations by providing insights and support operations in diverse and relevant areas.
  • Serves to integrate strategic and growth initiatives into the overall financial management, long-range financial plan, and budget processes of the Wexner Medical Center.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field and at least 6 years of progressively responsible experience in a finance role in a health care environment.
