Transaction Testing Engineering Manager, SVP

Role/Position Overview:

As a the manager on our transaction Testing platform, you will drive, design, build the PoC for critical core components while acting as a trusted advisor to the senior management team and lead architect. You will make clear, simple and technically sound decisions and champion high standards of coding and architecture best practices. You will drive discussions with multiple business and technology stakeholders, manage global and regional teams and programs, make sure prioritization is in place, supervise end-to-end initiatives, co-ordinate implementation and post-implementation support, interact with stakeholders at many levels of the organization, from junior analysts to senior management across multiple departments.

Not only will you utilize management expertise to lead major projects, but also you will manage your Program goals, contribute to product strategy and work closely with the product owner and lead challenging initiatives. You will mentor and lead the junior and middle level talent within the team, ensuring we have a clear pipeline of talent to promote within the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the platform, day to day requests, long term projects, and strategy of the team
• Eliminate waste in the SDLC process.
• Ensure your platform is fully compliant to Citis compliance, security and audit policies
• Ensure system stability through enhancement/maintenance periods
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Skills & Qualifications:

• 10+ years of relevant experience
• Experience with Function as a Service platforms.
• Proven experience working through the full product cycle from initial design to the final product
• Experience working with streaming data architectures
• Experience with designing and deploying container-based services
• Ability to engage and work closely with stakeholders from partner technology, business and operations
• Ability to develop good working relationships with peer groups and management
• Ability to distribute / allocate work within the team depending on project complexity and resource availability
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities efficiently
• Ability to work with minimum of supervision and deliver work on target
• Strong communication skills. Articulate in both written and verbal communication
• Good negotiation skills and an accomplished solution provider and problem solver
• Experience on Agile Methodology
• Technology development experience

Education:

• Bachelors degree/University degree in computer science/engineering/mathematics or equivalent experience
• Masters degree in computer science/engineering/mathematics is preferred
