The Division of Traffic Operations seeks to hire a Clerical Associate IV to report to the Personnel Liaison for Signals. Signals and Street Lighting consists of 13 work units with 600 plus employees possessing multiple civil service titles in professional, managerial, technical, analytical, skilled, labor class, financial, clerical, and administrative positions.
While maintaining strict confidentiality and under supervision, the Clerical Associate IV will be responsible for performing the following duties but not limited to:
-Assist with scheduling interviews and collecting and filing interview-related documents. -Assist with updating personnel tracking sheets/databases. -Assist with copying and filing Personnel-related paperwork. -Assist with Schedule and track training classes/seminars. -Assist with the monitoring and tracking of yearly Managerial and Performance Evaluation submissions and Probationary Reports. -Maintain active and inactive personnel files and other confidential information. -Ensure job postings and other related notices are distributed and posted on bulletin boards. -Work on other related assignments, special projects, and initiatives when necessary.
This position may be eligible for remote work up to 2 days per week, pursuant to the Remote Work Pilot Program agreed to between the City and DC37.

Minimum Qualifications Qualification Requirements A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent approved by a State's department of education or a recognized accrediting organization and one year of satisfactory clerical experience. Skills Requirement Keyboard familiarity with the ability to type at a minimum of 100 key strokes (20 words) per minute.
Preferred Skills
-Candidate should possess excellent verbal and writing skills.
-Knowledge of MS Office including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
