Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Commercial Plumbing Technician to join our team. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining commercial plumbing systems in a variety of commercial and industrial settings. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in commercial plumbing, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead junior technicians while ensuring work is performed to the highest standards of safety and quality.


Essential Duties

  • Install, maintain, and repair commercial plumbing systems including water supply lines, drainage systems, gas lines, and fixtures.

  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout of plumbing systems.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex plumbing issues and provide effective solutions.

  • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on plumbing systems.

  • Work with contractors, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure plumbing systems are integrated properly.

  • Ensure all work complies with applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations.

  • Mentor and train junior plumbing technicians and apprentices.

  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job.

  • Respond to emergency plumbing calls and provide after-hours support as needed.

  • Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of job sites and company vehicles.


Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED; technical or trade school certification preferred.

  • Valid plumbing license (Journeyman or Master, as required by state or local regulations).

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of commercial plumbing experience.

  • Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, standards, and best practices.

  • Proficient in the use of plumbing tools and equipment.

  • Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and schematics.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
