Job Description

The Global Visa Direct Commercialization team develops the global commercial go-to-market strategy for products, capabilities and/or core use cases across the entire MMS portfolio. The team supports the global & regional commercialization/sales teams with product roll-outs through consolidated sales pipelines, collaterals, revenue KPI tracking, training and documentation. The team works closely with Visa Sales, Global Commercial teams, Regional Sales & Solutioning teams, Regional GTM, Product, Marketing, Strategy, Finance and other key stakeholders across the organization to support the delivery of the Global Commercialization strategy.

Visa Direct is seeking a Senior Manager, Global Commercialization, reporting to the Global Commercialization lead, to support the development and success of new initiatives and strategy in partnership with our regional and global stakeholders. This important role will help drive the Global Commercialization strategy and GTM initiatives across the Visa Direct business. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Sales and Product Management with an emphasis on deep product knowledge and skill-set to understand product nuances to build out more robust, in-depth commercial materials.

The scope of the roles and responsibilities include:

  • Support and deploy new Global Commercialization strategy and framework across entire MMS portfolio.

  • Help develop and manage Global Commercialization GTM documentation, sales pipelines for new initiatives in conjunction with our regional/global partners, revenue KPI tracking, internal sales training on GTM approach.

  • Work very closely with Visa Sales, Global Commercial teams, Regional Sales & Solutioning teams, Regional GTM, Product, Marketing, Strategy, Finance and other key stakeholders across the organization to support the delivery of the Global Commercialization strategy.

  • Act as the Client's and Region's advocate inside the Visa Direct Commercialization team, supporting them in their commercial and enablement goals, by interacting with global and regional teams and removing barriers the present along the way.

  • Resolve escalations and conflicts with internal stakeholders, act decisively on urgent and important matters and always show up in a collaborative manner to achieve the Region's and Global Commercialization team's best interest.

  • Have strong functional knowledge of Visa's technology stack, digital assets/capabilities, new payment technologies and networks, and partner business models to package solutions for clients.

  • Partner with the Visa Product team ensuring constant feeding of Region's needs to reflect them into the product roadmap, and that new solutions, features and functionalities are being developed and delivered to address commercial needs.

  • Support global cross-functional strategic initiatives - including alignment of resources, establishing governance, driving collaboration and teamwork, across a global organization and build/maintain strong, productive working relationships with stakeholders and partners.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with payments/operations analytics or equivalent
  • Excellent communication, storytelling and presentation skills
  • Expert level PowerPoint and advanced level Excel skills
  • Critical thinker, strong organization skills, highly engaged and detail oriented
  • Basic understanding of technical schemes required. Knowledge or expertise strongly preferred

Preferred Qualifications

  • 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
  • Experience in implementing new digital payments solutions, and experience in working with cross regional stakeholders.
  • Knowledge in global money movement payment flows across payment types (card, account, wallet)
  • Understanding and knowledge of Visa Direct and Global payment network Technology Stack, Visa's Digital Assets/Capabilities, and our Acquiring and Financial institution partner ecosystem
  • Skilled in the knowledge of various payment technologies and trends in new payment globally
  • Strong team player, self-motivated and able to work independently, innovative thinker
  • Ability to navigate in a highly matrixed global organization and drive results, ensuring that milestones are adhered to and risks to the project are called out early
  • Aptitude to think creatively and identify new ways to innovate and differentiate products with evidence of tangible business results
  • Process oriented, with a high attention to detail and quality on both internal teamwork and external products brought to market

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 135,200.00 to 196,300.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
