Corporate Actions is part of the Core Operations department which fulfills middle and back-office capabilities supporting the investment process, distribution efforts, and long- term growth strategies of the Capital Group. The department focuses on activities such as daily valuation of securities, trade operations, corporate actions, collateral management, reference data management, accounting, financial reporting, and determining the net asset value for the investment portfolios available to our global clients. The department's strong accounting and operations capabilities, along with the agility to build new capabilities, enable superior investment outcomes and service for our clients.

As a Corporate Actions Senior Associate, you will work with the global Corporate Actions team to execute the team's responsibilities and deliverables across various levels of complexity. You will analyze impacts of corporate actions to our Investment Group and Clients. You will play a key role in collaborating across stakeholders to communicate impacts and determine the appropriate course of action. You are expected to demonstrate a growth mindset and proactively identify, recommend, and implement ideas for continuous improvement with oversight from management. You may be involved in small to moderately sized internal or external projects.

  • You have a bachelor's degree and have worked within the investment management industry for a few years.
  • You have high learning agility and can adapt to new technology quickly.
  • You are a progressive thinker with a passion for process improvement and can leverage technology to achieve operational scale.

  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and can effectively communicate with a diverse group of associates, investment group, and business leaders.

  • You are skilled in multitasking and can exercise good judgement for managing competing priorities.
  • You are strong at identifying, recommending, and participating in continuous improvement activities.
Hampton Roads Base Salary Range: $62,642-$100,227

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
