JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
*The Lab Technician will work as a member of the PCR and ELISA team in the Quality Testing Seed Health lab in Woodland, CA.
*The primary job function involves performing molecular testing processes such as ELISA, nucleic acid extractions, qPCR, conventional PCR, and gel electrophoresis.
*Testing processes also include working in a greenhouse and using lab automation (liquid handlers). They will also be actively working in a group to maintain lab supplies, safety standards, documents and may be asked to help in other Seed Health groups with routine testing.
*Routine testing lab experience is preferred.
*The individual must adhere to all Client safety regulations while working.
*A successful candidate is organized, demonstrates good time management, has strong attention to detail, and is a supportive team member.
