FTE: 1.0 Shift: Day Schedule: Monday - Friday Benefits & Incentives $2,500 sign-on incentive for qualified external candidates Tuition assistance program (100% of tuition and fees or up to $5,250 for full-time employees/$2,500 for part-time employees per year) Competitive health care coverage (medical, dental, vision, life) 403(b) retirement plan with employer contribution Growth and advancement programs Health and wellness programs Position Summary The Clinical Concierge Patient Care Assistant (PCA) provides quality care focused on the comfort and wellbeing of the patient and family focused on basic patient care activities and customer service-oriented delivery of care to patients under the direction of a Registered Nurse, ARNP, PA-C, or Physician. You will maintain confidentiality of all patient records and other proprietary information and assure the privacy and dignity of all patients is maintained. You will use your exceptional AIDET skills to communicate effectively and courteously with patients as appropriate to their developmental status or age. This position requires a highly collaborative approach to services in a clinic environment. Responsibilities Greets patients and assists in registration as needed based on clinic workflow and patient needs Documents all pertinent visit information in the medical record Assists physicians, physician assistant and/or nurse practitioner in exam rooms; performs and/or assists with nursing procedures for a wide variety of illnesses and injuries as appropriate to scop of practice under the supervision of a physician or other provider Escorts patients to exam rooms, interviews patients, measures vital signs and provides verbal report to provider Discharges and assists with patient check out and provider referral process; provides instructions to patients as instructed by provider Keeps exam rooms stocked with appropriate levels of medical supplies; maintains instruments and assists with sterilization, as required Maintains logs and required checklists Calls patients to convey normal test results and/or for customer service purposes Takes telephone messages and provides feedback and answers Requirements Certified Nursing Assistant Certification with the State of Washington or Obtain MA-R within 60 days of hire and maintain BLS obtained within 30 days of hire Our Values As a MultiCare employee, we'll rely on you to reflect our core values of Respect, Integrity, Stewardship, Excellence, Collaboration, Kindness and Joy. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $20.07 - $28.87 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
