What to Expect
Tesla operates the world's largest electric vehicle Supercharger network. The past few years have been historic, but the Supercharger network's rapid expansion in the years ahead are essential to accelerating the world's transition to sustainable energy. The Contract Compliance Specialist works on the North America Charging Operations team in Palo Alto, CA. This role is responsible for maintaining lease data accuracy, lease compliance items and reporting for our operating network. This role will specialize in project management of lease obligations, dispute resolution, payments, collections, reconciliations, creative problem solving and driving innovation, in addition to other key responsibilities, in a fast passed, high volume environment. The individual will work closely with internal stakeholders (Legal, Business Development, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Supplier team, Tools & Analytics), as well as external stakeholders such as our charging site hosts.
What You'll Do
- Maintain accuracy of our lease management system for our network of sites, including data analysis, critical date management, creating process flows, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Manage and maintain lease obligations, such as one-time, monthly, quarterly, yearly, and ad-hoc required reports, payments, collections, insurance obligations, and issuing legal notices, in addition to other key responsibilities
- Oversee and facilitate agreements for processing, such as coordinating signatures, tracking signature status, locating missing leases, and facilitating deviation approvals
- Serve as the Charging business partner for Internal stakeholders, including acting as the charging team's first point of contact for escalations and disputes, managing shared ticketing inbox, actioning requests within 2 days of receipt, and providing progress reports
- Drive efficiency and process improvements with internal systems and stakeholders, such as automation, intermediate and long-term creative solutions
- Act as charging team liaison between internal and external stakeholders for Insurance obligations and requests, including issuing Certificates of Insurance (COI), maintaining COI accuracy, and coordinate non-standard requests
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study or equivalent experience
- Previous experience work in real estate or lease administration preferred
- Previous experience working with accounts payable and/or accounts receivable preferred
- Impeccable attention to detail and an eye for efficiency, with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Experience coordinating in fast-paced, high-change environments
- Focused personality while maintain a flexible attitude towards critical tasks
- Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word

Expected Compensation
$64,000 - $120,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
