Your Impact:

Are you looking for a rewarding leadership role in IT Operations and Service Management? OpenText is seeking a highly motivated Director of Sales to lead and grow our US ITOM/OSM team. In this role, you'll help our customers deliver exceptional software experiences faster and more efficiently with OpenText ITOM/OSM solutions. This is your opportunity to work with world-class technology, shape go-to-market strategy, and lead a team in driving business outcomes that matter.

This is a new team that is being formed. The team will be responsible for accounts to include SLED and will go after net new opportunities. The ideal candidate will be a skilled teacher/mentor for developing sales associates.

What the Role Offers:

* Team Leadership & Development: Recruit, coach, and lead a high-performing regional sales team focused on ITOM/OSM solutions.
* Strategic Sales Execution: Define and execute a territory strategy that drives pipeline growth and revenue attainment.
* Sales Enablement & Excellence: Ensure your team is equipped to position, demonstrate, and communicate the value of OpenText ITOM/OSM solutions to both technical and business stakeholders.
* Market Intelligence: Maintain deep knowledge of market trends, competitive landscape, and enterprise IT operations needs to drive consultative selling.
* Customer Success Focus: Foster trusted relationships with mid-to-large enterprise clients to support long-term growth and solution adoption.

What You Need to Succeed:

* Proven experience building, managing, and motivating high-performing enterprise sales teams.
* Strong understanding of IT Operations, Service Management, observability, automation, and related market trends.
* Expertise in identifying and closing complex solution sales, preferably within ITOM or infrastructure/software segments.
* Excellent communication, coaching, and presentation skills-both internally and externally.
* High business acumen with a customer-first, outcomes-driven approach.

Education and Applicable Experience Required:

* University or bachelor's degree; directly related previous work experience.
* Demonstrated success managing teams to achieve or exceed quota.
* 8-12 years of progressive sales experience, including 2-3 years in ITOM or a related specialty.
* Experience interfacing with executive-level decision-makers and building territory strategy.
* Proven ability to forecast, manage pipeline, and implement sales best practices.
* Project management and organizational skills to support both short- and long-term goals.
