Essential Functions:

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  1. Greet customers in a timely and professional manner - customer courtesy is essential to this position.
  2. Schedule customer appointments while maximizing service technicians' schedules.
  3. Liaison between customer and technicians. Must be able to listen to customers and translate concerns and questions from customer to technician and vice versa.
  4. Keep customer informed on completion times, service expenses, and any possible changes.
  5. Prepare estimates with detailed and accurate information for necessary work needed on the customers' unit.
  6. Accurately completing all customer repair orders that clearly describe the units underlying problems; including issues discovered and services required.
  7. Maintain accurate and on-time reports / records relative to the service departments operations with the company; assure that all charges related to repair orders are posted properly and repair orders are closed on a timely basis.
  8. Place part orders for repair orders and ensure the parts are on site prior to customers scheduled service arrival

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibility.

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to handle, feel, or reach. This position is not very active when it comes to movement and requires a lot of typing and sitting in a chair.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time hourly position and the expected work hours are 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday; weekend and overnight work may be necessary.

Travel

Travel would be minimal and would be primarily local during the business day.

Required Education and Experience

  1. Some technical aptitude, preferably in LCI parts and RV applications.
  2. Previous experience in a customer service role.
  3. Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and positive attitude.
  4. Knowledge of Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics AX, Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, SharePoint.

Preferred Education and Experience

  1. Previous scheduling experience preferred.
  2. Manufacturing/industry experience.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
