Job Description

Benefits:

Salary:

$25.60 - $29.00/hourly

Summary:

The Group Lead is responsible for overseeing their team's production and efficiency. They are responsible for providing guidance to their team on all areas of the production process. They must be aware of all safety hazards, policies, guidelines, and procedures associated with the various production lines. The Group Leader will work overtime on a regular basis. The Group Lead reports to the Production Supervisor.

Essential Functions:

  • Understanding all machine set ups and operations.
  • Ability to operate all equipment including driving a forklift.
  • Reading and understanding Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
  • Train production team members on production process and running machines.
  • Ability to provide information effectively to team members in order to produce quality product.
  • Understands this is a working leadership position that requires working in any area needed to give team members breaks and fill in for absences.
  • Report any production safety, quality, quantity issues to Supervisor immediately.
  • Completes all necessary paperwork for production output, shipping, quality, scrap and potential team issues on a daily basis.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

  • Production or manufacturing experience in a leadership role is preferred.
  • Forklift operation
