Requisition ID:75773 Description Skyworks Andover, MA design center is seeking an experienced Layout Designer responsible for the layout of Analog integrated circuits, utilizing commercial/standard bulk SOI and CMOS technologies in accordance with design rules. You will be part of a dynamic and innovative team at the forefront of semiconductor design, tackling challenges to create cutting edge Integrated Circuits solutions. #LI-DB1 Job Responsibilities Work closely and collaborate with design engineers to create intergrated circuit layouts Perform custom IC Mask/Layout design for 40/22nm analog, RF, and mixed/signal circuits Perform layout from scratch, modify existing layouts. Create block level floorplans and work within the constraints of higher-level floorplans. Taking the ownership of block ensuring it meets specifications Perform Calibre DRC/LVS/PEX/EM-IR/HVDRC verification Work closely with design engineers maintaining effective communication Develop methods to improve efficiency in layout methodology and verification process Contribute to the overall success of the team by actively participating in design review sessions, team meetings, providing valuable insights, and maintaining effective communication within the team from a layout perspective Position requires remote interfacing with domestic and international design engineering and layout teams across multiple design centers in different time zones Desired Experience and Skills Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent a plus Minimum 3+ years of experience in the layout of integrated circuits including the ability to place and route active and passive devices Ability to plan the placement of major circuit components in an overall physical design Good understanding of semiconductor processes and structures, like CMOS FETs, capacitors, resistors etc. Provide good experience and competency using Cadence Virtuoso and SkillCAD tools Proven ability to interpret DRC, ERC, LVS, ANTENNA using the Calibre verification tool and to read electrical schematics and netlists Top level integration experience is also preferred. The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD$89,100 -$172,100 per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location.
