Every great life-changing discovery begins the same way-with new knowledge. It can change everything, from a single life to the future of entire communities. That's why academic medicine, and the continuous pursuit of knowledge, is at the center of everything we do at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW). As a Postdoctoral Researcher, you will be part of a lab that performs MRI research and development of advanced multiparametric methods for the evaluation of primary and metastatic brain tumors. Recent work incorporates machine learning methods to advance the interpretation of the multiparametric MRI datasets to aid in the radiologic evaluations of such patients. We are seeking a motivated individual to continue to advance and evaluate the machine learning methods for this purpose. This project is part of a broader effort to significantly enhance the clinical portfolio of advanced MRI methods for the clinical evaluation of brain tumor patients. The successful candidate will join a highly collaborative laboratory focused on the development and application of MRI technology and analysis software in the Department of Biophysics, with access to state-of-the-art instrumentation and expertise in MRI. The applicant will be part of an interdisciplinary team. A successful individual will mentor graduate students in research projects. Strong collaborative skills are required.
