Description

    Performing deinstallation, serialization, inventorying, and packing of high-powered equipment and associated cabling of cryptologic systems at CONUS and OCONUS locations
  • Performing on-site installation, configuration, and testing of emerging cryptologic systems within equipment racks at CONUS and OCONUS locations

Requirements

  • Ability to interpret schematics, sketches, specifications, and written or verbal instructions to install or remove high powered equipment
  • Ability to work on small teams or independently within a large team to meet objectives with limited time constraints
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Must be detail oriented and highly organized
  • Able to generate/fill out reports detailing status updates of current installations
  • Willingness to assist in the training/mentorship of other systems technicians and/or new hires
  • Physical capability to lift and move boxes or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds in and out of confined spaces for various needs
  • Must meet minimum requirements in order to receive and maintain a TS/SCI Clearance


Desired Skills

  • Currently possesses a DoD TS/SCI Clearance
  • Experience with shipboard / tactical system installations and deinstallations
  • General working knowledge in reference to the hardware installation/deinstallation, system configuration, of C4ISR systems
  • Related industry-specific training, college, military, or technical school/education
  • Navy Fleet Electronic Support (FES) or Reginal Maintenance Command (RMC) experience is a plus


Clearance Information

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL WITH TOP SECRET/ SCI ELIGIBILITY



Travel Requirements

  • Up to 50% CONUS/OCONUS travel
