Job Description

Benefits:

Salary:

$25 - $30.00/hourly

Summary:

The Quality Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the quality and compliance of products within a manufacturing environment. This position involves conducting inspections, tests, and audits to uphold the highest standards of quality.

Essential Functions:

  • Perform visual and dimensional inspections of products at various stages of the production process to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Conduct tests on materials and finished products to assess their quality and compliance with specifications.
  • Analyze test results and promptly communicate findings.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspections, tests, and quality-related data.
  • Ensure compliance with documentation requirements and quality standards.
  • Investigate and identify the root causes of quality issues.
  • Collaborate with relevant teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Conduct regular audits of manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Calibrate and maintain inspection equipment to ensure accurate and reliable measurements.
  • Enforce quality control procedures to prevent defects and deviations in the production process.
  • Effectively communicate quality standards and expectations to production teams.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting and implementing enhancements to quality control processes.
  • Provide training to production staff on quality control procedures and standards.
  • Report and document non-conforming materials or products. Collaborate with relevant teams to address and resolve non-conformance issues.
Qualifications

Education:

High School Diploma or GED

Experience:

  • 2-5 years of experience in quality control roles within a manufacturing environment.
  • Understanding of quality control principles, testing methods, and inspection techniques.
  • Proficient in maintaining detailed and accurate records.
  • Ability to analyze data and test results, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvement.
