About this Job

The Associate Director, Emerging Brands Development is an experienced sales and service professional with a passion for FMCG, NielsenIQ solutions, and white space development.

You will be responsible for securing new customers by performing all sales activities and account management, from lead generation to close, through to fulfillment for prospects. Using a consultative selling approach, this individual will match NielsenIQ products and services to client needs to achieve total client satisfaction and team financial objectives.

  • Lead the development of new revenue streams for NielsenIQ through a bulk acquisition model, collaborating with external partners-including consultants, incubators, retailers, and third parties-to create innovative referral networks and distribution pathways that expand data access for emerging brands.
  • Desire to explore creative and strategic approaches to problem-solving, taking calculated risks and experimenting with new methods to evaluate what delivers results and what doesn't
  • Being the Voice of the Customer for NIQ's B2B clients and prospects internally and effectively articulating a case for change, as needed, to better serve the B2B client segment; sharing best practices for working with B2B within Emerging (TPAs, Data Usage Agreements, etc.)
  • Being a strategic thinker and problem solver for Emerging Brands, leading sales culture transformation
  • Educating clients and prospects on industry trends and best practices adopted by peer companiesto drive insights and analytics within Emerging Brands
  • Representing NielsenIQ externally, in thought leadership and/or as part of industry conferences
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and 7+ years in consultative sales within CPG, Consulting, Information Services, Sales, or Analytics.
  • Proven success in strategic sales, business development, and consistent revenue growth.
  • Skilled in senior-level communication, stakeholder engagement (Analyst to C-suite), and negotiation.
  • Strong pipeline management and commercial strategy execution.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; CRM experience required (Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred).

Additional Information

This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation of the following range: $93,800.00 - $120,000.00. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a sales-based incentive or performance-based bonus.
